Mark Roberts grew up with a strong passion for Rock & Roll, Blues, and Motown music, all of which inspired him to be the singer that he is today. His passion for songwriting also stems from these influences.

He has been featured on lead vocals in many various bands. These bands include Spanky's Gang, Matrix, Alter Ego, The Next, and Heart and Soul. Mark joined Wilmington, NC band, Heart and Soul, in the year 1991. That band was nominated and were the winners of The Carolina Beach Music Award for Best New Artist in the year 2000.

Recording such songs as The Way You Love Me, Shaggin with Your Baby, and Dixie Moon, Mark was nominated for Male Vocalist in 2003. He soon found a window of opportunity with a well-known musician whom was already established in the today's beach music market. This collaboration went on to claim many Carolina Beach Music Awards such as Group of the Year, Song of the Year, Male Vocalist, and Entertainer of the Year.

Mark was nominated for Male Vocalist in 2007 and winner of Smoothie of the Year for 2005 and 2006.
